Hey, you know what Milwaukee needs? ANOTHER EXPERIMENTAL MUSIC SERIES
October 20th will be the first installment of another series I am curating called The Noise Knowledge Consortium. Sort of a laid back and more informal version of the experimental series. Happening during the afternoon of every third Saturday from now until I kill it. This show is also the first one I am setting up at Brinn Labs in Bayview, which is now officially Milwaukee's newest all ages venue. Also pairing up with Present Music on this, which is super wild to me. First workshop is with Neil Gravander (aka Lucky Bone) and he will be joined by Eli Smith during the concert.

Second, November 2nd and 3rd will be the final Experimental Education Series installment for the year. Beyond excited to bring in Andrea Pensado from Salem MA for a workshop and two different performances. One will be her solo and the other will be a duo with her and local vocal/electronics wizard Amanda Schoofs. Both shows (and the workshop) should seriously not be missed. For those unaquainted, the Experimental Education Series brings female experimental performers and musicians from around the country to run workshops. The series aims to amplify female voices in a male dominated field while also inviting newcomers to the genre through education.
